Come to a lecture by Jennifer Higginbotham on the constructions of girlhood in early modern England. Higginbotham recently received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she has been teaching as a graduate assistant. She takes up an assistant professorship in English and Women's Studies at Ohio State University in September. She is a 1996 graduate of Vassar College, with a major in Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
