John K. Noyes
John K. Noyes is the author of The Mastery of Submission: Inventions of Masochism and Colonial Space: Spatiality in the Discourse of German South West Africa 1884-1915. He has edited many volumes on multiculturalism, especially in its relationship to Germany and Southern Africa. He has taught German Studies at the University of Cape Town, in South Africa.
Lecture begins at 6:30 pm.
