The Music Department of Vassar College will present "Houses that Jacques Built: Scenes from Offenbach's Operas" as this year's Opera Workshop production on Saturday, April 26, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, at 3:00 p.m. in the Skinner Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.
Selected scenes from "La Perichole," "Les Brigands," "The Tales of Hoffmann," and "Orfee aux Enfers" will be performed by auditioned students from the voice department, under the musical and stage direction of Drew Minter, visiting assistant professor of music, and accompanied by Harry Jensen on the piano
