Cabrini Quartet to premiere new work Saturday, April 5

On Saturday, April 5, the Vassar College Department of Music will welcome the Cabrini Quartet for a performance at 8 p.m. in Skinner Recital Hall. Included in the evening's program will be Charles Ives's Trio for piano, violin, and cello; Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben; and the premiere of "After Dark," and a recently completed composition by Suzanne Sorkin, visiting assistant professor at Vassar College.

Members of the quartet are Christine Schadeberg, soprano, Michael Finckel, cello, Christopher Oldfather, piano; and Andrea Schultz, violin.
