Vassar Repertory Dance Theater will perform 20th annual Bardavon gala, March 2 and 3

The Vassar Repertory Dance Theater (VRDT) will perform its 20th annual gala performance at the Bardavon 1869 Opera House in Poughkeepsie at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, and 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 3.

Tickets are $7 for general admission, $6.50 for students and seniors, and $6 for the Vassar community.

VRDT offers dance students at Vassar College the opportunity to perform classic dance works as well as new choreography by faculty, guest artists, and the students themselves.

Along with an array of new faculty and student work, this year VRDT will present "Escargot," a classical modern work by the late Louis Falco. Falco was a highly celebrated modern dancer best known for his choreography in the movie "Fame."
