"A Celebration of Children's Art," the 17th annual John Iyoya Children's Art Show, will run from Sunday, April 7, through Saturday, April l3, at the James W. Palmer III '90 Gallery in the College Center at Vassar College. The show honors the memory of John Iyoya, a former Vassar student who exemplified a wonderful sense of creativity and love of children.
The show is sponsored by the Department of Education in cooperation with the Office of Campus Activities. It is free and open to the public.
Students from 11 area schools will lend their mixed media creations to the exhibit. Schools represented are: Arlington Elementary School, Beekman Elementary School, Clinton Elementary School, LaGrange Elementary School, Noxon Road Elementary School, Smith Humanities Magnet School, Titusville Intermediate School, Traver Road Primary School, Warring Magnet Academy, the Joseph D'Aquanni West Road Intermediate School, and the Wimpfheimer Nursery School at Vassar College.

The James W. Palmer III '90 Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
