Vassar presents Terry Champlin and Friends, January 26

Terry Champlin and Friends will perform classical guitar works by Beethoven, Schubert, Hovhaness, and the premiere of "Homage to Alan Hovhaness" by Champlin in Skinner Recital Hall at Vassar College on Friday, January 26, at 8 p.m.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The program, sponsored by the Department of Music, will include several original compositions by Terry Champlin, along with Beethoven's adagio from the "Moonlight Sonata."

Champlin, a lecturer in music at Vassar, will perform with Helen Avakian and Steve Siktberg on guitar, Leona Nadj on violin, and Ann Churukian on English horn.
