Storyteller Alicia Quintano will perform an original monologue from her one-woman show, "Love is Hell & Other Stories," in the Daly Grind Café at Vassar College on Thursday, March 1, at 8 p.m.
In recognition of National Eating Disorder Awareness Month, the performance is sponsored by the Office of Health Education. It is free and open to the public.
Quintano's monologue, "Escape from Fosdick," is a story about power, food, sex, and identity. She has performed at venues around the United States, including Women's Interart Theatre, the United Nations Women's Guild, First Night Boston, and at storytelling symposiums in Massachusetts and Alaska.
