Vassar College gallery presents artwork by local school children, March 25–March 31

"A Celebration of Children's Art," the 16th annual John Iyoya Children's Art Show, will be open from Sunday, March 25, through Saturday, March 31, in the James W. Palmer III '90 Gallery in the College Center, Vassar College. The show is co-sponsored by the Department of Education and the Office of Campus Activities, in memory of Iyoya, a former Vassar student.

Students from eleven area schools will lend their mixed media creations to the exhibit. Schools represented are: Arlington Middle School, Beekman Elementary School, Clinton Elementary School, LaGrange Elementary School, Noxon Road Elementary School, Smith Humanities Magnet School, Titusville Intermediate School, Traver Road School, Warring Magnet Academy, and the Wimpfheimer Nursery School at Vassar College.

The James W. Palmer III '90 Gallery is open Monday though Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays, noon to 10 p.m. For more information, call the Vassar Office of Campus Activities at (845) 437-5374.
