Francine du Plessix Gray to lecture on the Marquis de Sade at Vassar College, February 15

"What Should We Do With the Marquis de Sade?" will be the subject of a lecture by Francine du Plessix Gray on Tuesday, February 15, at 5:30 p.m. at the Blanche Brumback Spitzer Auditorium in Sanders Classroom at Vassar College. The lecture, sponsored by the Department of English, is free and open to the public.

Gray, the Gladys Krieble Delmas Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Vassar College, is a frequent contributor to The New Yorker and author of numerous books, including "Lovers and Tyrants," "Soviet Women: Walking the Tightrope," and "Divine Disobedience: Profiles in Catholic Radicalism," winner of the National Catholic Book Award. "At Home with the Marquis de Sade: A Life" is her most recent book.
