“I Won’t Grow Up Day” planned for April 1 at Vassar College

The 20th annual "I Won't Grow Up Day," at Vassar College, will take place on Saturday, April 1, in the College Center, Main Building, beginning at 1 p.m. The event, sponsored by Vassar's Education Majors' Committee, is planned for children and kids-at-heart of all ages in the greater Hudson Valley area.

Festivities include arts and crafts, storytelling, juggling lessons, educational tables sponsored by various student groups, a fire truck exploration with the Arlington Fire Department, and finger-printing demonstrations with the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The day concludes at 5 p.m with an a cappella concert featuring Vassar's choral groups.

All events are free and open to the public. All proceeds from concessions and souvenirs will be donated to the Task Force for Child Protection.
