New plays by Zachary Berkman, Davey Holmes, Christopher Bomba, Alexandra Cunningham, and Etan Frankel will be read on June 23-25 at the Readings Festival, a production of Vassar College/New York Stage and Film at the Susan Stein Shiva Theater on the Vassar campus.
The festival begins on Friday, June 23, at 8 p.m. with a reading of Berkman's "A Breath Short of Breathing" and continues on Saturday, June 24, at 2 p.m. with Frankel's "The Treehouse." Later on Saturday, at 8 p.m., there will be a reading of Holmes' "More Lies about Jerzy." Bomba's "Resumé" will be read on Sunday, June 25, at noon followed by Cunningham's "The Theory of Three" at 5 p.m.
