Experimental Theater of Vassar College to perform Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” October 26, 27, and 28

William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," a festive romantic comedy of gender confusion, will be performed by a cast of drama students from the Experimental Theater of Vassar College at 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, October 26 and 27, in the Powerhouse Theater.

Denise Walen, assistant professor of drama, will direct "Twelfth Night". The set design and lighting for "Twelfth Night" will be by

William Miller, lecturer in drama and scenic and lighting director. Julie Hilimire (class of 2001) will design costumes. Arielle Edwards (class of 2001) is the sound designer.

In "Twelfth Night," a play that combines high comedy and sexual intrigue, the shipwrecked heroine Viola (Ursula Liff, class of 2001) disguises herself as the male page Cesario, and is mistaken for her supposedly drowned brother Sebastian (Christopher Mancini, class of 2002).
